Chris Curtis BA LLB (Macq)

Our managing director and licensee in charge, Chris Curtis is an Australian lawyer and a former Australian legal practitioner.

Prior to establishing Curtis Associates, Chris practised for more than 16 years as a barrister in high level commercial, finance and building law before leaving the law to become a Division Director of Macquarie Bank responsible for conceiving and developing managed investment schemes in prestige real estate markets around Australia.

Chris later became the Sydney representative for a leading Melbourne based firm of buyers’ advocates and property consultants credited with being the first buyers' agency in Australia.

Chris also has over twenty years experience as a buyer and developer of commercial, investment and prestige residential properties in his own right. In those capacities and as a barrister who ran numerous cases involving all forms of misleading and deceptive conduct,  Chris learnt all about the so called "tricks" of the real estate trade. He combines the vision and lateral thinking of a successful developer with the analytical skills of a senior lawyer.
