‘You will be caught’: Ten year ban for Sydney’s highest earning real estate agent

On the buyer’s agent side of things, it’s time for you to step up and stamp out a similarly illegal practice which we constantly encounter:

Some selling agents offering us a cut.

It’s happening all over town and all of them are, or pretend to be, oblivious to the illegality and obviously have complict buyers’ agents.

Maybe it’s time to offer buyers’ agent dedicated CPD rather than CPD tailored only to selling agents ???

An inevitable and serious consequence of rubbish legislation that doesn’t distinguish clearly between sellers’ and buyers’ agents.

Keep up Premier.

Buyer’s agents are here to stay and with your incoherent legislation, absurdly low barriers to entry and virtually no dedicated CPD, they are spawning at the rate of knots.

Train them and regulate them or you’ll have to deal with them in the courts.

For years our Principal has warned the REINSW, successive State governments and others about this as well as other conflicts of interest only to fall on deaf ears.
